This Privacy Policy explains how The Beat Department, LLC, doing business as Rex Street Mafia Studios and Carl Got It, collects and uses information through CarlGotIt.com and our studio services.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide when requesting or purchasing services, including your name, artist or project name, email address, mobile number, booking details, service selections, notes, payment status, and communications with us. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to schedule and deliver services, process payments, send booking and payment updates, respond to questions, maintain business records, prevent misuse, and improve CarlGotIt.com.
Mobile information and SMS consent
Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and text-message consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties except service providers that transmit messages on our behalf and are prohibited from using that information for their own purposes.
If you opt in, we may send transactional messages concerning your recording session, appointment, service request, custom invoice, payment link, or remaining balance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
Service providers
We use service providers such as Stripe, Twilio, Netlify, and Resend to operate the website, process payments, store business records, and deliver requested communications. They receive only information reasonably necessary to provide those services.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain financial and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
